This headline echoes the same narrative of the Islamic Republic of Iran, which has never been proven in court with evidence or witnesses.
As a respected news agency, Al Jazeera needs to conduct a thorough investigation into these allegations and shed light on the events leading to the execution of these four citizens: Mohsen Mazloum, Mohammad Faramarzi, Vafa Azarbar, and Pejman Fatehi.
The Islamic Republic's narrative that these four men were convicted of conspiracy to carry out a bombing at the command of Israel was never proven in court with evidence or witnesses. In fact, Amnesty International has called the trial of these four men "a grossly unfair secret trial."
