We, the undersigned, urgently call upon the Swedish Migration Agency and human rights organizations worldwide to halt the deportation of Asma Mirbaluchzehi, known as Asma Baluch, to Iran. Asma Baluch, a 34-year-old dedicated women's rights and social activist from Bam City in Kerman Province, faces a dire threat to her life and safety if deported back to Iran. This action violates the principles of humanity and justice and places her in imminent danger due to her activism.
Asma Baluch has been a vocal and tireless advocate for the rights of the Baluch people and has played a crucial role in documenting human rights abuses in Baluchistan, including the persecution following the massacre of Bloody Friday in Zahedan. Her efforts have been essential in bringing international attention to the violations of rights and the brutal treatment of Baluch citizens and fuel traffickers, as well as individual executions and arbitrary shootings by Iranian police and security forces.
The decision to deport Asma Baluch, amidst confirmed threats to her and her family's life from mercenaries affiliated with Iranian security agencies, especially during their residency in Sweden, is deeply concerning. These threats have intensified in the context of the Woman, Life, Freedom movement, highlighting the real danger Asma faces if she is returned to Iran.
In light of the above, deporting Asma Baluch undermines the global efforts to protect human rights and sends a discouraging message to human rights defenders everywhere. Asma's contributions to human rights advocacy are invaluable, and sending her back to Iran would not only jeopardize her life but also betray the values of protection and asylum.
We demand an immediate cessation of the deportation proceedings against Asma Baluch and call for a thorough and compassionate re-evaluation of her asylum case. The Swedish Migration Agency must acknowledge the severity of Asma Baluch's situation and provide her with the necessary protection and shelter she deserves.
In solidarity with Asma Baluch and all human rights defenders under threat, we urge swift action to ensure her safety and recognize her right to asylum. Protecting Asma Baluch is a testament to our commitment to human rights and justice for all.

به گزارش کمپین فعالین بلوچ، امروز ۱۹ اسفند ماه ۱۴۰۲، اسما بلوچ فعال زن حقوق بشر به دلیل فشارهای روانی ناشی از دیپورت و تلاش برخی فعالان سیاسی جهت بدنام کردن وی با انتشار ویدیوهای قطع و برید شده، اقدام به خودکشی از طریق خوردن قرص کرد که پلیس و نیروهای امداد محلی با اقدام فوری مانع جان باختن وی شدند. به گفته همسر وی، او به دلیل فشارهای روانی ایجاد شده توسط برخی افراد معلوم الحال در خارج کشور جهت بدنام کردنش با قطع و وصل کردن سخنان او و پخش آنها در فضای مجازی، اقدام به خودکشی کرده است.
