این دادخواست در رابطه با شلیک نیروهای مسلح جمهوری اسلامی به پرواز شماره ۷۵۲-PS خطوط هوایی اوکراین در تاریخ هشتم ژانویه سال ۲۰۲۰ تنظیم شده است.ستاد کل نیروهای مسلح جمهوری اسلامی ایران در بیانیه‌ای که روز شنبه ۲۱ دی/ ۱۱ ژانویه منتشر کرد، اعتراف کرد «به اشتباه» به پرواز شماره ۷۵۲-PS خطوط هوایی اوکراین شلیک کرده است.
در این بیانیه گفته شده این هواپیما که به محدوده آسمان یک پایگاه متعلق به سپاه پاسداران انقلاب اسلامی نزدیک شده بوده، به عنوان هواپیمای دشمن تلقی و به آن شلیک شده است.
ما امضا کنندگان این دادخواست معتقدیم تمامی افرادی که در نیروهای مسلح جمهوری اسلامی ایران نقش تصمیم گیرنده داشتند و تمام افرادی که مسئول این شلیک هستند، باید استعفا دهند و محاکمه شوند. از جمله:
- علی خامنه‌ای، رهبر جمهوری اسلامی و فرمانده کل قوا
- سرلشکر محمد باقری، رئیس ستاد کل نیروهای مسلح جمهوری اسلامی ایران
- سرلشکر حسین سلامی، فرمانده کل سپاه پاسداران انقلاب اسلامی
- سرتیپ امیرعلی حاجی‌زاده، فرمانده نیروی هوا فضای سپاه پاسداران انقلاب اسلامی
بیان «خطای انسانی» و «اشتباه غیرعمدی» موجب بسته شدن پرونده و خاتمه درد کسانی نمی‌شود که خانواده و عزیزانشان را در میان مسافران از دست داده‌اند.
کسانی که در فرآیند تصمیم‌گیری در نیروهای مسلح جمهوری اسلامی نقش داشتند، از رهبر جمهوری اسلامی تا فرماندهان زیر فرمان او باید استعفا بدهند چرا که امنیت آسمان ایران را برای هواپیماهای مسافربری و امنیت شهروندان ایران در اولویت قرار نداده‌اند.
علاوه بر این، آنان با کتمان حقیقت سعی داشتند افکار عمومی را فریب دهند.
ما معتقدیم محاکمه و استعفای این مقام‌ها و حق بازماندگان برای اطلاع‌رسانی، عزاداری و سوگواری آزادانه، کمترین کاری است که می‌توان در راستای مسئولیت‌پذیری و پاسخگو بودن انجام داد.

We the undersigned are writing to you about the downing of the Ukrainian Airlines flight 752 on 8 January 2020, by the Islamic Republic of Iran's Armed Forces.
The General Staff of the Armed Forces of the Islamic Republic of Iran published a statement on 11 January 2020, admitting that it shot down Ukrainian Airlines flight 752 by "mistake." The statement says that the aircraft was too close to the airspace of a base belonging to the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) and was perceived as an enemy aircraft.
We are writing to you to ask for the resignation and prosecution of the following individuals as well as any other individuals responsible for this attack:
- Ali Khamenei, Supreme Leader of Iran
- Major General Mohammad Bagheri, the Chief of Staff for the Armed Forces of the Islamic Republic of Iran;
- Major General Hossein Salami, the Commander-in-Chief of the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps;
- Brigadier General Amir Ali Hajizadeh، commander of the Aerospace Force of the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps
Stating "human error and in an unintentional mistake" will not bring closure to the families and loved ones of those passengers who lost their lives. Those who served in the decision-making process at the Armed Forces of the Islamic Republic of Iran did not prioritize the safety of Iranian skies for civilian aircraft carriers and citizens of Iran. We believe that their resignation is the least they can do to accept responsibility and accountability.
In addition, these officials by concealing the truth tried to deceive the public opinion. We believe that the resignation and prosecution of these officials combined with the recognition of the rights of the families and the survivors to freely release any information, and freely mourn and host memorial services, is the least that can be done to hold those responsible, accountable.
