By signing this petition, the people of Sistan and Baluchistan Province urgently call for immediate and decisive action to address the unsanitary conditions in our cities' streets, passages, and alleys. The severe lack of trash cans in cities such as Zahedan, Chabahar, Nikshahr, Saravan, Zahak, and other areas has led to a dangerous accumulation of garbage on the ground. Stray animals have scattered garbage, creating an unsanitary environment that poses a serious threat to public health, facilitating the spread of various diseases.
In many cities and villages within Baluchistan, the streets and sidewalks remain unpaved or covered with damaged asphalt. These areas lack basic amenities, including trash cans, exacerbating the problem.
In places like Bagheri Street 10 in Zahedan, piles of garbage and even animal carcasses accumulate, causing severe pollution and unpleasant odors. The municipal authorities have neglected this situation, forcing residents to endure these unhygienic conditions.
We, the undersigned, demand the following actions from the relevant authorities:
- Provision and Installation of Trash Cans: Trash cans should be installed in various areas of the province to prevent garbage accumulation.
- Regular Garbage Collection: Implement regular garbage collection, especially in residential areas and markets.
- Prompt Resolution of Health Issues: Address existing health problems promptly to prevent disease spread.
- Public Awareness: Inform residents about the schedule for garbage collection to ensure proper disposal.
We urge the relevant officials to acknowledge their responsibility, respond to these demands, and take the necessary measures to improve urban health in Sistan and Baluchistan Province.
